🔍 1. Our role – independent assistance

RentalCarsGo ("we", "us", "our") is an independent car rental assistance and reservation support service. We are not a car rental company. We do not own, operate, or lease a vehicle fleet. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any car rental brand, including but not limited to Hertz, Enterprise, Avis, Budget, Thrifty, Dollar, Alamo, National, or Payless.

Our service consists of helping customers compare rental availability, understand rental terms, and connect with third-party rental providers. We act solely as an intermediary. Any rental agreement you enter into is directly with the rental provider, not with RentalCarsGo.

✅ 2. Acceptance & eligibility

By using our website, calling our support line, or requesting assistance, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

You must be at least 18 years old to use our service. By using our service, you represent that you are at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

📞 3. Booking assistance process

When you contact us for assistance:

• We will ask for your rental details (dates, location, vehicle preferences, driver age, etc.) to search for availability.
• We will present options from third-party rental providers. We do not guarantee that any specific vehicle, rate, or provider will be available.
• If you choose to proceed, we will help you confirm a reservation with the provider. At that point, the provider's own terms (cancellation policy, payment, insurance, etc.) apply.
• We may disclose any service fee (our charge) before confirmation. If no fee is mentioned, our assistance is provided without a separate charge (though standard call rates may apply).

💳 4. Payment & fees

Rental payments: All rental charges (vehicle cost, taxes, surcharges, deposits) are paid directly to the rental provider. We do not process rental payments on their behalf. The provider may require a credit card at pickup or for prepaid bookings.

Our service fee: If we charge an assistance or booking fee, it will be clearly disclosed and explained before you confirm. This fee is for our support, time, and access to comparison tools. Unless otherwise stated, service fees are generally non-refundable once a booking is confirmed (see our Refund Policy for details).

No hidden fees: We do not add hidden surcharges. Any applicable fees are communicated verbally or in writing (SMS/email) during the booking process.

🔄 5. Cancellations, refunds & modifications

Cancellation and refund eligibility are governed by:

• The rental provider's policy: Each provider sets its own cancellation window, fees, and refund rules. We will explain these to you before booking.
• Our service fee policy: As detailed in our Refund Policy, our assistance fee may be refundable only in limited circumstances (e.g., if we made an error, or if you cancel before the provider confirms).

To cancel or modify a booking, you must contact us immediately. We will advise you on the provider's policy and, if possible, facilitate the change. However, we cannot guarantee that modifications are always possible — some bookings are non-changeable.

🏢 6. Rental provider terms & responsibilities

Once you are booked with a rental provider, your relationship is with them. Key points:

• The provider is solely responsible for the condition, availability, and delivery of the vehicle.
• Any disputes regarding rental charges, vehicle condition, fuel policy, deposits, or damage must be resolved directly with the provider. We will assist by providing documentation and contact information, but we are not liable for the provider's actions or omissions.
• Providers may have additional requirements (e.g., minimum age, credit card necessity, insurance proof). We will inform you of known requirements, but you are responsible for ensuring you meet them.

⚠️ 7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Our service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of rental options presented. We do not warrant that any specific vehicle, rate, or provider will be available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentalCarsGo and its agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our service or any rental arranged through us. This includes, but is not limited to, rental provider errors, vehicle unavailability, accidents, or disputes.

Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the total amount of service fees you paid to us (if any) in the six months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RentalCarsGo, its employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these terms, your misuse of our service, or your dispute with a rental provider.

All content on our website, including text, logos, and graphics, is the property of RentalCarsGo or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

📱 10. Privacy & communications

Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By contacting us, you consent to receiving calls, SMS, or emails related to your booking and service inquiries. Standard message and data rates may apply. We do not use your information for marketing without consent.

📝 11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Your continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via our website or directly for active bookings.

⚖️ 12. Governing law & dispute resolution

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or our service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts.

Informal resolution first: Before filing any legal action, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
